ANTI-ADHESIVE GEL, ABSORBABLE, STERILE.
APPOINTMENT:
for the prevention of adhesion formation after surgery on organs and tissues with a serous coating (abdominal cavity, tendon sheaths, joints, pleural cavity, cavities of the spinal cord and brain, middle ear cavity). The gel acts as an artificial temporary “barrier” between the damaged serous surfaces, ensuring their effective separation during the healing process, and then dissolves. Reducing the adhesion of the surfaces of organs and tissues helps to maintain their mobility and prevents the formation of adhesions. After the end of the action, the gel is completely excreted from the body.
When applied to healthy tissue areas, the gel helps to reduce their drying due to the formation of a protective hydrophilic layer (for example, in case of intestinal enteritis). The anti-adhesion gel does not have a general toxic, allergic and local irritating effect. The gel is effective in the presence of blood, exudate, is not a nutrient medium for microorganisms, is not encapsulated.
INDICATIONS:
Surgical interventions on organs with serous coating. Mesogel can be used for both open and endoscopic interventions (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy). It is also often used in neurosurgery. Sterilization is by autoclaving.
ASSORTMENT:
Polymeric containers or syringes, sterile, with a volume of 10 to 200 ml.
